EXPLANATION:
On this canvas the Hebrew word EMETH is central:
TRUTH.
In the painting a door can be seen at the bottom and then begins a road; that path ends in a menorah - the candlestick, the image of Christ.
The road goes through light and through truth.
Light and truth both have the same function: so you might see things as they really are.
The truth is a light through which you see and the light shows you the truth.
Jesus says that He is the door, the gate. That is the beginning of the road, at the bottom of the picture.
Many Christians make the mistake of standing still in the doorway and call that 'new life'.
But the Messiah has also said that he is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
From that we can conclude that, after we have gone in, there is a road on which we are allowed to walk.
The way, "derech" in Hebrew, is the way of truth.
You could also call it: authenticity, transparency, no masks.
